Changing Gears Social Experiment: How to Build Your Real Estate Brand Position in the Web 2.0 World.
An Interactive Step by Step Guide on How to Become a Virtual Neighborhood Specialist by Audeliz Angie Perez #CGSE
Hi, my name is Audeliz “Angie” Perez of Weichert, Realtors and njretoday.com. I am a full time real estate agent in New Jersey. I’ve been wanting to write an ebook about how to build a brand position online for real estate agents and other real estate pros for a very long time. Part of my desire to do so comes from the fact that I love technology and I’ve always felt that the Internet is the best marketing tool a real estate professional has in his or her tool kit, yet it’s the one tool REPROS fudge all the time.
I was going to write the ebook and post it up for others to download but then it dawned on me that it would be better for you to watch and do as I implement my experiment rather than having you read it on your own. I see a number of ebooks advertised on websites that REPROS download and never read because something else always comes up, or the phone rings, or we read it and well it looks like too much work to implement. Just now I saw an ebook called Social Media 10 Day Action Plan, which just based on the title alone, I know that despite the great content it may contain, few of us are self-disciplined enough to implement the plan, at least not without a little guidance.
So, here I am looking to do this with no strings attached, but I will have you know that I thrive on positive comments. If you like what I’m doing, I ask that you share it with me. I was about to say I want you to share it with other real estate pros, but then I thought about it. REPROS are not in the business of sharing marketing tips or techniques for fear of losing clients if they teach their methods to other PROS and well, as independent contractors, for some, our loyalty lies to our own successes. But then again, that’s the beauty about the Internet.
When you master something, you become the expert and others will come to you for advice or help, and there’s value in that! Sometimes the value is monetary and most times, it’s in the form of appreciation. In life, we need both kinds of rewards to keep ourselves motivated because in case you haven’t figured it out yet, we’re in the getting to know people business and unlike trouble shooting a computer, people are the most complicated machines on the planet! (Year To Date-seriously-I took a survey).
Alight so here’s my experiment.
