Congress Woman Maxine Waters makes several inquires on behalf of her constituents one of which is an early person behind on her mortgage payment for at least a year and another for a couple that is not behind on payments but simply struggling. The runaround takes center stage when Night-line record’s the congress woman’s attempt to call 3 different banks to speak with a negotiator and possibly negotiate on behalf of her constituents. The runaround comes in the form of long wait times, drop calls, transfers to other departments, more calls. The congress woman see the system as a detriment to helping people resolve their problems independently let alone with the help of a congress woman.
